Ages 15 Months to 36 Months
Your toddler is asserting their independence in new ways every day. It’s exciting, rewarding, and challenging to watch. We recognize that children at this age may be at very different stages of development. Some may have just started walking, while others are already exploring the many other facets of their emerging development. That is why at Mendon Child Care Center, we provide many individualized opportunities for your child to learn. Here are some key benefits your toddler will experience:
- Gathering or group times; stories, music
- Introduction to boundaries and control
- Planned large muscle play indoors and outdoors
- Self-directed activities; teacher-directed activities
- Activities to help develop language skills
- Painting, gluing, crafts
- Continuation of color, shape and object recognition
